(NLDO) - Workers of the Transport Enterprise of the Da Nang Urban Environment Company assisted in searching for the mistakenly thrown away jewelry.

On January 29 (the first day of Tet), the leader of the Transport Enterprise under the Da Nang Urban Environment Company said that the workers of this unit had just supported and found valuable assets lost by Ms. CTMH (residing in Cam Le district) on New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake 2025.

Accordingly, the found assets included jewelry, including a diamond ring worth an estimated value of over 1 billion VND.

Previously, while cleaning the house for Tet, Ms. H's daughter, who had just returned from studying abroad, mistakenly threw her mother's diamond ring bag into the trash.

Garbage in Nguyen Huu Tho street area (Cam Le district) is collected and compressed at Le Thanh Nghi station (Hai Chau district).

After discovering the incident, Ms. H. followed the garbage truck to Khanh Son landfill (Lien Chieu district) to ask for help in searching for the jewelry that had been thrown away. Near New Year's Eve, the lucky jewelry was found and returned to Ms. H.
