Vietnam men's volleyball team ranked 4th in Asia after losing to Korea

Losing 1-3 in the final, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team won 4th place in the AVC Challenge Cup 2023, while Korea won the Bronze medal.

In the first semi-final, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team met South Korea in the third-place match of the 2023 AVC Challenge Cup. Previously, in the second semi-final, the Korean team lost to Bahrain 0-3.

With the advantage of better physique, physical strength and attacking ability, the Korean men's volleyball team caused many difficulties for Tu Thanh Thuan and his teammates. Set 1 ended with a 25-22 victory in favor of Korea.

In set 2, Korea was still the better team, leaving Vietnam 7-8 points behind before winning 25-19.

In a situation where they had to win set 3 if they didn't want the match to end early, the Vietnamese players played very well against Korea.

In addition to the effectiveness in smashing the ball, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team also improved their first step. The victory in set 3 belonged to Vietnam, with a score of 25-22.

With good mentality, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team continued to take the lead over their opponents in set 4. However, it seemed that the decline in physical strength caused the Vietnamese boys to have problems with their playing style and had to accept a regrettable 21-25 loss.
