Korean enterprise proposes golf course project in Gio Linh district

This afternoon, August 28, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province worked with DRP Development Company Limited of Korea on the investment proposal for the golf course construction project in Gio Linh district. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam; Deputy Director of DRP Development Company Limited of Korea Kim Byung Chang attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Deputy Director of DRP Development Co., Ltd., Korea Kim Byung Chang said that in March 2024, the company's leaders came to survey and research, from which they built a golf course project combined with a resort in Gio Linh district.

Regarding the master plan, the golf course combined with the resort is expected to be built on an area of 172.4 hectares in Trung Giang commune, with a total investment capital of 100 million USD, including: 27-hole golf course, golf academy, resort hotel, hotel, villa with swimming pool, reception hall, therapeutic garden, water park, casino...; media art museum, performance hall...

The company aims to complete the golf course before Quang Tri province completes the Quang Tri Airport project. The company hopes that the provincial leaders, Gio Linh district and related departments and branches will continue to pay attention and support so that the company can effectively implement this project.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung highly appreciated the idea of DRP Development Company Limited of Korea on the proposal to invest in the golf course construction project in Gio Linh district. In terms of policy, the Provincial People's Committee agreed to support this project. The realization of the project will have many positive impacts on the socio-economic development of the province and bring many great benefits to investors.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung requested that DRP Development Company Limited of Korea must have a commitment and clearly demonstrate determination in implementing the project; carry out legal procedures in accordance with the provisions of Vietnamese law.

In the coming time, the provincial leaders and provincial and district departments will continue to provide necessary information, guide and support the survey organization and create all other favorable conditions for investors to soon complete the proposed project procedures. After that, there will be many working sessions to unify important contents of the project.
