Dien Bien starts construction of 3 key projects to celebrate the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2

On the morning of August 19, joining the exciting atmosphere of competition across the country to achieve achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Dien Bien province solemnly held the groundbreaking ceremony for 3 projects: Urban residential area, commercial services of residential groups 17, 18 Him Lam, Dien Bien Phu ward; Dien Bien Provincial Museum and Muong Thanh A Urban Area, Dien Bien Phu ward.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were comrade Tran Quoc Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; former leaders of the province; representatives of departments, branches and a large number of people in the area.

The project of urban residential area, commercial services of residential groups 17, 18 Him Lam, Dien Bien Phu ward was proposed by the joint venture of MST Investment Joint Stock Company and Vina 2 Construction Investment Joint Stock Company and has been approved by the province in principle for investment and approved by the investor, with a total investment of nearly 981 billion VND, an area of over 48,000m², and an estimated population of about 600 people. The project is planned to be built synchronously with many important items such as: Adjacent residential land of nearly 18,000m²; modern commercial - service works, an area of over 6,500m², 12 floors high, total floor area of over 47,000m². Social infrastructure and technical infrastructure are invested synchronously, with green squares, parking lots, modern traffic and drainage systems.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Him Lam Urban Residential, Commercial and Service Area Project, Dien Bien Phu Ward, comrade Tran Quoc Cuong affirmed: The projects selected by Dien Bien province to start construction today have many important meanings; contributing to creating new development momentum for Dien Bien province, while improving the quality of life. Because this will be a new, modern, synchronous urban area, meeting the needs of residential land, housing and commercial services of the people; contributing to improving the quality of life, creating a civilized, convenient and friendly living space. The project contributes to completing the infrastructure, solving shortcomings, thoroughly overcoming the flooding that has existed for many years in the area of residential groups No. 17, 18, bringing a safe and sustainable living environment to the people. In addition, the project is a new driving force for the development of trade, services and tourism, creating architectural and urban landscape highlights, contributing to bringing the central area of Dien Bien province to soon meet the criteria of a type II urban area, worthy of the position of the political , economic and cultural center of the province, contributing to improving people's lives, towards the goal of rapid and sustainable development.

In order for the project to be completed soon, put into operation on schedule, ensuring quality and efficiency, the Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee requested that immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, the project investor and construction units need to focus on human resources, resources, urgently implement, strictly comply with legal regulations on construction, land, environment, ensure safety, quality and progress. Muong Thanh A Urban Area Project was proposed by NQT Quang Ninh Trading and Construction Joint Stock Company and has been approved by Dien Bien province for investment policy and investor with a total investment of nearly 614 billion VND, area of 5.49 hectares; the west borders Nam Rom River, the north borders Be Van Dan Street, the east borders residential area, the south borders Hoang Van Thai Street). Muong Thanh A Urban Area is a project with modern architecture mixed with the typical cultural identity of Dien Bien with a harmonious and synchronized overall structure with Muong Thanh market, creating a new look and green living environment of the project. With synchronous investment in social and technical infrastructure, such as: Green square, parking lot, modern traffic and drainage system; The project is expected to be a new modern, synchronized urban area, creating a civilized, convenient and friendly living space. The project promotes the beauty of the Nam Rom River landscape, while creating connections and synchronization with the Muong Thanh Market and Trade Service Project that is being implemented, forming a modern and harmonious urban space, contributing to building a new look for the central urban area of Dien Bien province.

The Dien Bien Provincial Museum Project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 1878/QD-UBND dated October 18, 2024. The project has a total investment of 150 billion VND from the central budget. The implementation period is from 2024 to 2026. The Dien Bien Provincial Museum Project has a construction investment scale, including: The main item of the Museum House, a 3-storey house architecture (construction area of 2,268m2); floor area of 5,993m2; yard for organizing traditional activities of ethnic groups in the province with an area of 1,545m2. Auxiliary items include: Main gate, side gate, fence surrounding the project, walking path, power supply, water supply, drainage, synchronous and complete fire prevention and fighting. Auxiliary space and equipment include: Outdoor exhibition space, trees, flower gardens, ornamental plants, glass roof; low voltage electrical equipment, air conditioners, elevators, generators - transformer stations, interior - office equipment... Along with that, the Dien Bien Provincial Museum Project is invested in construction in combination with the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum and the relics: A1 Hill, Muong Thanh Bridge, De Castries Tunnel, A1 Cemetery... creating a "Cultural - Historical" center, aiming to preserve and promote the cultural heritage values of Dien Bien province; thereby contributing to promoting economic, cultural and social development in general and tourism development in particular.
