Destination for lovers of reading culture

(CLO) On February 6, the Cao Bang Provincial Journalists Association coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Cao Bang province to open the At Ty Spring Newspaper Festival and the 2025 Journalists Association Chess Tournament (expanded).

The Cao Bang Province Spring Newspaper Festival 2025 has 7 exhibition booths, with nearly 200 newspapers, magazines, special editions, and books from central and local press agencies nationwide. With new innovations in form and diverse and rich content, the Spring newspaper publications are a panoramic picture of politics , socio-economy, people's lives, difficulties and challenges that have been overcome, achievements in 2024 and potential, prospects, and determination for the next stage of the new year.

Talking to reporters of the Journalist and Public Opinion newspaper, journalist Tran Hoai Nam, Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial Journalists Association, said: This year, the 2025 Spring Press Festival of Cao Bang province has more innovations than in previous years. The activities of the Press Festival are associated with the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) and the 135th birthday of beloved Uncle Ho (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). The Provincial Journalists Association has coordinated with units to organize the Spring Press Festival associated with a photo exhibition of beautiful Cao Bang tourism and Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark, creating an impression on the public.

The Press Festival also featured books on the Communist Party of Vietnam, affirming that the birth of the Party marked an important historical turning point, laying the foundation for the country’s sustainable development. Many books also introduced the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh – the genius leader of the Vietnamese revolution, the founder, trainer and leader of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

“This year, the arrangement of the exhibition booths, stages, etc. has also been innovated, creating a cheerful color and a spring atmosphere. In particular, within the framework of the At Ty Spring Press Festival, the Cao Bang Journalists Association coordinated with the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center to organize the 3rd Journalists Association Chess Tournament (expanded) in 2025, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere on the occasion of Tet,” journalist Tran Hoai Nam shared.

The Spring At Ty Press Festival is a unique political and cultural activity and an opportunity to enhance exchanges and meetings between journalists and the public, thereby encouraging the press to perform its functions and tasks well, meeting the people's increasing need for information.
