Foreign Trade University has just announced the university admission scores for 2025.
Accordingly, the programs that are admitted have a score above 28 points, including: Advanced program in Foreign Economics with an admission score of 28.5, advanced program i-Hons International Business and Business Data Analytics and standard program International Business all have an admission score threshold of 28.
Next are 6 programs with admission scores above 27, including: Logistics and Supply Chain Management Career Orientation Program, Foreign Economics Standard Program, Foreign Economics High Quality Program, International Business High Quality Program, Digital Marketing Program, and Advanced Finance - Banking Program.
The Computer Science major alone has an admission score of 36.4 with a doubling coefficient for Mathematics (equivalent to over 9 points per subject). The remaining programs basically have admission scores concentrated around 25 to 27 points.
Foreign Trade University considers admission scores based on 2 original combinations including a combination of 3 high school exam subjects for standard programs and a combination including 2 high school exam subjects and converted IELTS scores for advanced, high-quality, and international career-oriented programs.
Foreign Trade University does not add IELTS points and applies a lower conversion rate compared to high school exam scores and many other schools. Specifically, IELTS 6.5 is only equivalent to 8.5 points; to be converted to 10 points, candidates must achieve IELTS 8.0 or higher.
For language and computer science majors, the admission score is calculated on a 40-point scale with a double coefficient for foreign languages for language majors and for mathematics for computer science majors.
