This year, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering enrolls 4,700 students in 47 majors/specializations, including 8 new majors, including: Industrial Design; Graphic Design; Fashion Design; Information Technology (majoring in Information Security); Data Science; Control and Automation Engineering; Asset Management; Occupational Safety and Health.
The school applies 4 admission methods, including: Admission using the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; Considering high school academic results (transcripts); Considering the results of exams organized by other higher education institutions; Direct admission and priority admission.
In the method of considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, the school applies it to all majors and majors. The groups with the Fine Arts subject use the results of the Fine Arts exam of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, or of some other higher education institutions with the converted score to the Fine Arts scale of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.
Candidates with an international English (French) language certificate equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or higher (certificates valid as of the admission date) can use it to replace the English (French) subject in the admission combination. The school does not consider admission with certificates in the form of the "Home Edition" exam.
For the method of considering transcripts, the school applies admission to all majors and majors except for majors/majors that consider Fine Arts.
