Talking to the Chinese press, translator Nguyen Le Chi said: "Reading and translating good stories is my lifelong hobby. Having the opportunity to translate excellent literary works, especially Chinese literature, is a lucky opportunity. Thank you to the Chinese writers who have written good stories for me to share and enjoy with Vietnamese readers over the past 25 years. I hope that I will continue my journey of searching and discovering good stories to continue sharing with readers of both China and Vietnam, becoming a literary bridge for readers of both countries. Sharing Vietnamese literature to China and other countries is also something that I always hope for and strive to do."
Not long before, translator Nguyen Le Chi was also honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, appearing in the list of 177 individuals who have made positive and important contributions to the development of literature and art in Ho Chi Minh City 50 years after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
