In order to follow the policy of rearranging administrative units and to continue operating effectively in the coming time, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Football Club has just consulted with the leaders of Dong Nai province about changing the name of Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Football Club to Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Club.
In addition, according to the leader of Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Football Club, in order to better serve the fans and people of Dong Nai province after the merger, the Club also proposed to invest in renovating and upgrading Dong Nai Stadium, then use it as the Club's home field for activities, training and competition in the future. At the same time, the Club proposed to continue using Binh Phuoc Stadium as a competition field and youth training place for the Academy.
In response to the club's proposal, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son said that the Provincial People's Committee will assign the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to verify legal procedures related to the club's name change procedure, as well as clarify land procedures for the use of Dong Nai Stadium.
The leaders of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee also proposed that Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Football Club take over Dong Nai's football team to promote the development of Dong Nai province's football. The Provincial People's Committee will report to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to seek opinions and approve the implementation policy in accordance with regulations.
With the merger of the province, Dong Nai currently has 2 football teams participating in the National First Division, namely Dong Nai Football Club (8th place in the National First Division 2024-2025) and Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Football Club (2nd place in the National First Division 2024-2025).
Preparing for the 2025-2026 season, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Football Club has just signed a contract with midfielder Luong Xuan Truong.
