Speed up the progress of restoration and embellishment of Nguyen Sinh Sac relic site

As of July 31, the bidding packages of the Project to restore, embellish and promote the value of Nguyen Sinh Sac Relic Site have completed more than 50% to more than 90% of the project volume.

The project to restore, embellish and promote the value of Nguyen Sinh Sac relic site was approved by the People's Committee of Dong Thap province to be implemented, including 18 bidding packages with a total investment of more than 145 billion VND. The project implementation period is from 2024 to 2026.

The project is invested to complete the architecture, landscape, construction works and technical infrastructure in a synchronized manner; to embellish and promote cultural and historical values, aiming to build Nguyen Sinh Sac Relic Site into a special national relic site; to form an attractive tourist destination for domestic and foreign visitors.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Thap province, up to now, bidding packages such as construction of interior equipment, equipment for the exhibition house of Vice President Nguyen Sinh Sac; specialized equipment; construction of project items: Renovation, repair and new construction of some items; renovation and upgrading of technical infrastructure items; renovation and upgrading of traffic items... are being urgently implemented. Up to now, many bidding packages have reached from more than 50% to more than 90% of the project volume.

Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Huynh Minh Tuan, requested the investor and construction units to coordinate closely, focus on human resources, machinery and equipment to speed up construction progress, ensure quality, technical requirements, and aesthetics of the project; the project implementation process must ensure labor safety during construction.

Nguyen Sinh Sac relic site is one of the typical tourist attractions of Dong Thap, a red address to organize activities about the origin, educate historical traditions and love for homeland and country for the young generation.

Dong Thap province is honored to represent the people of the whole country and the Nguyen Sinh family to look after the tomb and offer incense to worship Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac, the father of President Ho Chi Minh.
