From Sub-Project 1 investing in essential infrastructure, serving production and life in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, in the first 6 months of 2025, Sa Thay district has deployed the construction of 17 works, of which 08 works in 2025, 09 works in 2024 with a total capital of more than 17.5 billion VND. The district focuses on investing in the construction of essential infrastructure works for communes and villages with special difficulties, regional traffic works; traffic systems to large production areas; domestic water supply works; schools.

In addition, from capital sources of other target programs, Sa Thay district prioritizes resources to invest in building infrastructure for rural residential areas in disadvantaged areas, serving production and life in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. Up to now, the district has 6 communes meeting new rural standards, including 3 communes in ethnic minority areas and 19 villages meeting new rural village standards in ethnic minority areas; contributing to increasingly better meeting the needs of the people.
