With a large number of candidates, many of whom live far from the exam site, along with ensuring facilities, human resources and conditions for organizing the exam, Nguyen Trai High School has proactively prepared 15 free dormitories with a maximum capacity of 250 students. The school also invested in building a new kitchen, planned to serve meals to candidates (in need) during the exam days, and arranged 3 cars to pick up candidates who live far from the school to the exam site safely and on time.
Ms. Le Thi Anh, Vice Principal of Nguyen Trai High School, Tien Yen District, said: In preparation for the 2025 high school graduation exam, the school has promptly issued a plan according to the instructions of the province, industry and locality. In particular, the school has promoted the sense of responsibility to best prepare the conditions of facilities, coordinate with parents to fully take care of food, accommodation and travel to ensure absolute safety for candidates, helping them to confidently take the exam and achieve the best results.
To facilitate candidates, each locality in the province has arranged from 1 to 9 examination sites. Of which, Ha Long has the largest number with 9 examination sites; Van Don district has arranged examination sites in Quan Lan island commune; Co To district has examination sites right in the locality to help students avoid having to travel from the island to the mainland. Mountainous districts such as Ba Che and Tien Yen have arranged concentrated accommodation and meals near the examination sites for candidates in remote areas with difficult terrain. In addition, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with localities, proactively reviewed and took measures to support candidates, ensuring that no candidate had to drop out of the exam due to economic difficulties, travel difficulties or other objective obstacles.
Teacher Tu Thi Ngoan, Vice Principal of Mong Duong High School, Cam Pha City, said: Mong Duong High School exam site has 266 candidates, of which 212 are from the school, the remaining 54 are from Cam Pha City Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center. After checking, there are 54 candidates living in Hai Hoa commune, 10km from the exam site. In addition, the exam site also has 3 disabled candidates and 1 candidate with difficult circumstances. Teacher Manh Hong Hai, Principal of Hoang Quoc Viet High School, Head of the examination site at the Ha Long City Vocational Education and Continuing Education School, said: The examination site at the Ha Long City Vocational Education and Continuing Education School has a special nature because all 336 candidates participating in the examination are independent candidates. Therefore, this examination site will organize the examination according to the 2006 General Education Program, the examination time is longer, which can easily cause confusion. In addition, the examination site is located in a residential area, so there are many potential complications. To ensure the examination takes place safely, the examination site has arranged 13 official examination rooms and 5 waiting rooms, mobilized 50 officers, teachers and security to perform the task, and covered all glass doors adjacent to residential areas. The examination site also coordinated with Cao Thang Ward Police to arrange forces to ensure safety, security and order throughout the examination period. In addition, the team of officers, teachers and staff performing tasks at the examination site are trained, instructed and closely, thoroughly and fully supervised according to the step-by-step process.
Along with that, the Provincial Youth Union has established 40 youth volunteer teams at 40 examination sites in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam with over 1,500 union members and youth participating in supporting candidates and their families.
