The ceremony took place at the Quang Ngai Provincial Police Hall, with the participation of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Secretary Bui Thi Quynh Van, Provincial People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Hoang Giang and representatives of departments, branches and key officials of the Provincial Police.
At the ceremony, the representative of the Department of Organization and Personnel - Ministry of Public Security announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security to transfer Colonel Ho Song An, Director of Dak Nong Provincial Police, to take up the position of Director of Quang Ngai Provincial Police.
At the same time, the Ministry of Public Security also decided to transfer Colonel Hoang Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of Quang Ngai Provincial Police, to take up the position of Deputy Director of the People's Police Academy.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang highly appreciated the core role of the police force in ensuring political security and social order and safety in the area. Mr. Giang emphasized that the completion of the position of Director of the Provincial Police is an important step to consolidate the organizational apparatus, and at the same time believed that Colonel Ho Song An and the Provincial Police Board of Directors will unite, promote a sense of responsibility, and excellently complete the assigned tasks.

Colonel Ho Song An, born in 1978, is from Tam An commune, Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province. Before being appointed as Director of Quang Ngai Provincial Police, Colonel Ho Song An held many important positions in the People's Public Security force such as: Deputy Head of Tien Phuoc District Police, Head of Environmental Police Department of Quang Nam Provincial Police, Deputy Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police, Director of Dak Nong Provincial Police.
