At the press conference, representatives of leaders of Departments and branches informed many key contents related to the socio -economic development situation and Party building work in the first 6 months of the year.
Specifically, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province summarized the plan to organize activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025); the Department of Agriculture and Environment reported the results of the implementation of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses and the plan to organize a summary conference; the Department of Home Affairs of the province provided information on the progress of reorganizing the apparatus, streamlining administrative units at all levels and building a two-level local government model in the direction of administrative reform.

Also at the press conference, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province informed about the tasks and directions for the last 6 months of 2025. Ca Mau will focus on drastically implementing key tasks to achieve the target of GRDP growth of 8% or more. Along with that, the province will continue to effectively implement projects on fishery - agriculture - forestry development; promote administrative reform; strictly manage budget revenue; accelerate disbursement of public investment capital, compensation and site clearance.
In particular, Ca Mau will strengthen the implementation of Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on developing the private economy, encouraging innovation, applying science and technology and promoting digital transformation. Representatives of press agencies highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and proactive coordination of departments and branches of Ca Mau province in providing and responding to press information in recent times. However, to meet the requirements of propaganda in the new situation, the press requested that functional agencies continue to increase the provision of official, complete, and oriented information, especially on issues of public concern, thereby contributing to stabilizing the ideological situation and improving communication effectiveness.

The Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee also informed about the propaganda orientation in the coming time, focusing on: the results of the arrangement and streamlining of the political system apparatus according to the direction of the Central and the province; promoting propaganda for Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th Congress according to Directive No. 45-CT/TW and Plan 315-KH/TU; widely propagating Directive 46-CT/TW on the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Concluding the press conference, Mr. Le Van Su - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, acknowledged and highly appreciated the active support of the press in disseminating and popularizing the Party and State's policies and guidelines to the people. Mr. Su emphasized: "The press is an effective channel of social criticism, helping the government promptly grasp emerging issues for appropriate handling, contributing to spreading the image of a dynamic and developing locality".
