On August 28, a delegation from the Lao Embassy in Korea led by Ambassador Songkane Luangmuninthone visited and congratulated the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
On behalf of the staff of the Lao Embassy in Korea, Ambassador Songkane Luangmuninthone sent congratulations to the Party, State and people of Vietnam, as well as all staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea and the Vietnamese community in Korea on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Expressing his joy at the great achievements that the Party, State and people of Vietnam have achieved during the 80 years of fighting for independence, construction and development, Ambassador Songkane Luangmuninthone believes that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the Vietnamese people will continue to reap success in all fields, firmly entering a new era - the era of national growth.
Emphasizing the tradition of close friendship between the two countries, Ambassador Songkane Luangmuninthone affirmed: “The special solidarity and strategic alliance between Vietnam and Laos is a priceless legacy that was painstakingly cultivated by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kaysone Phomvihane. This is an irreplaceable foundation that will always be preserved and promoted by generations of leaders and people of the two countries.”

On behalf of the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea, Ambassador Vu Ho expressed his deep gratitude for the sentiments and meaningful presence of Ambassador Songkane Luangmuninthone and the Lao Embassy in Korea on the important holiday of the Vietnamese people.
Ambassador Vu Ho affirmed that the Vietnamese people will forever remember the faithful companionship of the Lao people throughout historical periods and consider it an exemplary symbol of international solidarity.
“The special Vietnam-Laos relationship has been nurtured and built by generations of leaders and people of the two countries throughout the struggles for national independence and in the current process of national construction and development. The comradely and brotherly sentiments between the Vietnamese and Lao peoples will always be valued, preserved and continuously developed,” Ambassador Vu Ho emphasized.
In an atmosphere of friendship, officials of the two embassies shared and reviewed the affection, tradition of solidarity and unity of the people of the two countries.
