The Party Committee of the PTKV 6 Command Board - Con Dao Special Zone was established on July 1, 2025. Although newly established, the Party Committee of the PTKV 6 Command Board - Con Dao Special Zone has led the units to comprehensively complete the assigned tasks; strictly maintain the duty regime, combat readiness; closely coordinate with the forces to grasp the situation, advise on timely and effective handling of situations, avoid being passive and surprised.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the congress determined to focus on implementing three breakthroughs: Improving the quality of ideological management, building a disciplined and strict discipline in the context of new organizational structure; promoting the application of technology, innovation, associated with administrative reform, digital transformation throughout the unit; leading the implementation of the task of building and completing defense works, ensuring progress, safety and confidentiality.

 

At the congress, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee, Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the PTKV 6 Command - Con Dao Special Zone for the 2025 - 2030 term. Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Chung, Political Commissar of the PTKV 6 Command - Con Dao Special Zone was appointed to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary; Lieutenant Colonel Ma Le Thanh Phuong, Commander of the PTKV 6 Command - Con Dao Special Zone was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Party Committee Secretary.

Speaking at the congress, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trung praised the achievements of the Party Committee and the Command Board of PTKV 6 - Con Dao Special Zone in the past time and requested the Party Committee and the Command Board of PTKV 6 - Con Dao Special Zone to raise awareness, role and importance of Con Dao Special Zone in the defense posture of the City's armed forces.
