* My Lam Ward was established on the basis of merging My Lam Ward, My Bang Commune and a part of the natural area and population of Kim Phu Commune. In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee, government and people of the ward have always been united, unified, and synchronously implemented tasks and solutions, achieving many comprehensive results in all fields.
The organizational structure has been reorganized and innovated, initially promoting efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency in practice. Social security policies have been fully and promptly implemented, and the material and spiritual life of the people has been improved. The potentials and strengths of the locality have been promoted and used effectively, especially promoting the internal strength in tourism and economic development. In particular, the ward strives to bring the total product value in the area to 1,500 billion VND, the state budget revenue in the area to 18 billion VND, the average income per capita to 108 million VND/year by 2030; 100% of technical infrastructure systems in new urban areas will be underground. By 2030, it is expected that 100% of inter-residential traffic roads will be hardened; the rate of trained workers will reach 72% or more; the rate of poor households according to multidimensional poverty standards will decrease by an average of 3-4%/year; the rate of production and business establishments meeting environmental standards will reach 98%... Mobilize resources to build My Lam ward to develop sustainably, becoming a resort tourism center meeting international standards.
The ward needs to direct the review and re-evaluation of all activities of Party, government and Fatherland Front agencies after the merger to find solutions to overcome difficulties and shortcomings; improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and Party members, and promote the exemplary role of leaders.
Currently, there are key projects being implemented in the ward, so it is necessary to pay attention to implementing well the planning management, land use management, construction order, and site clearance in accordance with regulations. At the same time, mobilize well the investment resources from the budget and outside the budget to build synchronous infrastructure; develop typical products serving tourism such as: mineral baths, cuisine, OCOP products; strive to make My Lam become the resort tourism center of the province in the term 2025 - 2030...

Speaking at the Congress, Nguyen Hong Trang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, highly appreciated the achievements of the Yen Thanh Commune Party Committee in the past term. After the merger, the Party Committee of the commune focused on leading, directing, and completing the organizational arrangement according to the two-level government model. With the theme "Strengthening the building of a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting the strength of solidarity; exploiting potentials, promoting socio-economic development; building Binh Xa commune for sustainable development", the Congress assessed the results of 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Congress for the 2020-2025 term and set out directions, goals, and tasks for the new term.

In the past term, the Party Committee and the People in the commune achieved many important achievements in various fields, basically completing the goals and targets of the Resolution of the Party Congress of Binh Xa (old) and Minh Huong (old) communes and the resolution of the higher level. Both communes before the merger met the New Rural standards for the period 2021-2025. The Congress identified the general objectives: Enhance leadership capacity, promote the strength of ethnic solidarity, exploit potentials and effectively mobilize resources; develop socio-economy associated with cultural preservation; improve people's lives; ensure national defense and security, build Binh Xa commune to develop rapidly and sustainably. The identified breakthroughs include: Developing high-value agricultural and forestry production associated with the market; building concentrated production areas for OCOP products; promoting the application of science and technology, digital transformation; developing services associated with infrastructure construction.
The main targets by 2030 include: 90% or more of Party cells completing their tasks well; 90% of Party members completing their tasks well; the annual admission of new Party members is 3% or more; the growth rate of product value in the area is over 7%/year; budget revenue is 1,310 million VND; average income per capita is 76.5 million VND/year; 100% of schools meet national standards; the rate of trained workers is 73%; the rate of people participating in health insurance is 98% or more...

Thoroughly grasp and implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development and digital transformation; administrative reform; improving the efficiency of the Public Administration Service Center; applying information technology, digitizing data, building digital government. Ensuring national defense and security; preventing and combating crimes and social evils; thoroughly handling incidents arising from the grassroots. Improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee; strengthening political and ideological education; promoting the exemplary vanguard role of cadres and party members; innovating party cell activities; resolutely fighting against corruption and negativity; doing a good job of inspection, supervision, mass mobilization and party member development.
