High tides combined with large waves created large columns of water that overflowed the embankment in front of the Square area in Co To special zone.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the tide level in Co To special zone during this time can peak from 4 to 4.2m, even reaching 4.5m when combined with waves from 3-5m high.

This high tide phenomenon occurred at the same time as the impact of storm No. 3, so the risk level is even more serious. Coastal areas, wharf areas, coastal roads and residential areas near the water's edge are at risk of deep flooding, landslides and infrastructure damage.
