Diverse summer activities for children at Da Nang Museum

DNO - From June 19 to August 10, Da Nang Museum coordinated with other units to organize a series of summer activities for children with the theme "Listen to the cicadas - Enjoy summer at the museum", attracting a large number of children and families to register to participate.

The series of activities "Listen to the cicadas - Enjoy summer at the museum" attracted the participation of many children in the city.

“Listen to the cicadas - Summer fun at the museum” includes a series of 10 interesting activities, taking place from now until mid-August to create a useful and healthy playground for children during the summer. Specifically, from June 19 to July 22, children will have the opportunity to participate in a junior tour guide course to practice and develop skills such as presentation, communication skills, situation handling, teamwork, voice control, emotions, etc.

This year's summer activities include a series of new activities, organized for the first time by the Da Nang Museum, such as the exhibition "Diverse colors of Vietnamese insects" and the workshop "Experience making insect specimens", taking place every Wednesday and Saturday, starting from June 22 to July 13.

Notably, within the framework of the event, the museum will organize a game tour called “Tourane Street Corner” on July 27. This is an experientialeducational activity organized in the form of teambuilding. Participating in the game tour, the public will go back in time and learn about the past through a journey to explore the heritages at the street corners of Da Nang during the French colonial period.

Along with that, on August 10, the museum will organize the "Summer Fair" program with many attractive activities such as children becoming little merchants, experiential workshops, exploring science with STEM, participating in folk games, enjoying art performances...

Many children come to experience the "Flying with the pages of books" reading space at the museum.

In addition, there are many other interesting and worthwhile activities for children and families such as coffee experience workshop, lantern making workshop, crochet workshop, “Happiness Museum” program, reading space experience “Flying with the book”, exploring the ocean through the museum lens.

Thereby, helping children have a useful and meaningful playground during the summer, contributing to training and fostering soft skills and educating traditions and history for them - the future generation of the city and the country.
