The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has just announced the scores of the Tran Dai Nghia 6th grade competency assessment test for the 2025-2026 school year of 4,851 candidates.

Benchmark score 73.25 increased 5.75 points compared to 2024

Candidates use their registration number to look up their survey scores at https://thanhnien.vn/giao-duc/tra-cuu-diem-lop-6.htm .

At the same time, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City also announced the admission score for grade 6 of Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School for the 2025-2026 school year as 73.25 (67.5 for the 2024-2025 school year).

If needed, candidates can register for a review from today until 4:30 p.m. on June 25.

Submit application by June 28

Successful candidates submit their admission applications at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School from 11pm to 4pm on June 28.

Admission documents include: Primary school transcript (original), birth certificate extract, photocopy of Notice of personal identification number or ID card, certificate of child of war invalid or martyr (if any).

After 4:00 p.m. on June 28, if parents do not submit their admission application directly, the school will remove the student's name from the admission list.

Accordingly, to participate in the Tran Dai Nghia 6th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, more than 4,850 candidates took the competency assessment test on June 16.

It is known that the school's enrollment target for grade 6 this year is 350 students. Thus, the competition rate for admission to the school is about 1/14, the highest in more than 20 years, since the establishment of Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted (school year 2002-2003).

Candidates are scored in all 3 ways for test 2 on math and logical thinking.

Question 2 in the math and logic test has the following content: How many different ways can you place 3 beans, each bean in a square in the picture below, so that each row and each column has only one bean?

Regarding this question, Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the answer key gave the result of 8 ways. However, during the marking and reviewing process, the marking board found that some candidates' answers were outside the options such as 0 and 48 ways, which are consistent with the logical thinking of the subject. Therefore, the marking board decided to recognize all 3 results of 8, 0 and 48 ways. Thus, students were given 3 points according to the scoring scale of the survey with the above 3 results.
