The 10th grade entrance exam scores for the 2025-2026 school year are available.

On the afternoon of June 12, the Lao Cai Department of Education and Training announced the entrance exam scores for grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year. Compared to the original announcement date of June 13, the exam scores were announced one day earlier.

Exam results are posted at 38 exam locations and announced on the fanpages of the recruiting schools.

The scores have been posted at 38 examination sites in 38 examination councils in the province.

For cases requesting a re-examination of the exam, no later than 11:00 a.m. on June 17, the examination councils must submit a complete re-examination request according to the regulations of the candidates to the Departmentof Education and Training. It is expected that the re-examination scores will be announced on June 20. The admission scores for schools and the official list of successful candidates will be announced by the Department of Education and Training later.

The whole province has nearly 11,000 candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year.

The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year took place from June 3 to 6, with nearly 11,000 candidates participating in the whole province. Candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam will take 3 subjects: Literature, English, Math, while candidates taking the exam for Lao Cai Specialized High School will take an additional specialized subject out of a total of 10 specialized subjects for the 2025-2026 school year.

According to the plan, the whole province will enroll 9,880 students in grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year in non-specialized, specialized and boarding schools.
