The story begins in the 60s, when three female students named Mai - Bich - Dung accidentally hitchhiked with a group of young musicians in Vung Tau. The innocence, purity and poetic beauty of the girls left a deep impression, becoming the inspiration for the Le Minh Bang group to write romantic love songs, entering the memories of many generations of music lovers. Among them, "Soul of Stone Statue" has become one of the classic lyrical songs, resounding for the past half century.

Many years later, when the artists met Mrs. Dung again – the model from the past – many memories came flooding back. No longer the shy schoolgirl of the 60s of the 20th century, but the charm and warmth in her stories made the reunion scene full of humanity and art.

The artists were even more choked up when she shared: during her recent trip to the US, she visited the grave of musician Anh Bang - one of the three members of the Le Minh Bang group, as a way to pay tribute to the musician who left an immortal mark in the musical life.

The meeting was not only an opportunity to recall a beautiful memory of the golden music genre, but also reminded of the value of music in preserving memories, connecting people over time. From an ordinary moment in the coastal city of Vung Tau, "Mai - Bich - Dung" has entered the history of love music, becoming a symbol of a beautiful youth, and today, when artists and audiences meet that model again, they are still filled with emotion.

Since the early 1970s, the song "Stone Soul" became famous through the voice of singer Thai Chau and was loved by many people. The public at that time was very curious when the author of the song was credited as Mai Bich Dung, a name that first appeared in the music industry, so many stories were woven around this special name. Later, there were 2 more songs signed by Mai Bich Dung: "Infinite Love" and "For the Little Lover".

Ms. Luu Anh Dung said: "There was no deep love story at all, just a chance meeting. But the group of musicians Le Minh Bang added more, creating emotions: "On the rocky slope I accidentally met her, sat next to each other calling each other's names and then parted. You came, and came like a cloud. Like a bird flying across the sky, Oh the shape of a few happy hours... I stood there like a statue. Waiting for someone, waiting for someone and looking for someone. Listening to regret screaming among the waves. Listening to my heart beating, hoping to meet again a second time...".

When the song was released, all three of them used our names as pen names, because they were afraid that if the song was bad, they would criticize "Mai, Bich, Dung" instead of "Le Minh Bang".

But unexpectedly, the song was praised and loved. Musician Anh Bang came to school to meet me and gave me the published song, which had been lost due to moving many times, because on that song sheet there were signatures of all three of them as a gift to me" - Ms. Dung emotionally recounted.

Ms. Dung said that since the day she went to Vung Tau, she has not seen her two girlfriends again. It is known that Ms. Mai (real name Mai Xuan Lan) is currently living in Ohio (USA); Ms. Bich is living in Arizona (USA) and Ms. Dung (real name Luu Dung Anh) is living in Ho Chi Minh City. She is very close to People's Artist Kim Cuong and the late singer Le Thu.

"The situation in the song describes the story exactly. People accidentally met each other in a coastal town and then broke up soon after. But that created the emotion for the musician to write a song for life" - Artist Tu Trinh said.
