According to InStyle magazine , on this solemn occasion, Princess Kate Middleton made the fashion world admire when for the first time she chose a design from Dior - the iconic French fashion house.
It's a blush pink coat from the 2024 collection, redesigned by Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri as a tribute to the famous "New Look" style that Dior introduced in 1947 - celebrating feminine cuts and refined structures.
To complete her look, Kate Middleton wore a matching hat designed by Jess Collett and two precious pieces of jewelry: Collingwood pearl earrings that once belonged to Princess Diana and a triple necklace that belonged to Queen Elizabeth II.

Kate Middleton slowly makes comeback after cancer treatment
Kate Middleton's appearance on this visit comes just a week after she shared candidly about her cancer treatment during a visit to Colchester Hospital in Essex on July 2.
After being diagnosed with cancer in early 2024, Kate Middleton completed treatment in September last year and announced she was in remission in January. However, she also stressed that the journey after treatment was not easy.

British Royal Family welcomes French President with special ceremony
After a welcoming ceremony at RAF Northolt, Prince William, Kate Middleton, King Charles and Queen Camilla were accompanied by the French President and First Lady in a carriage parade through Windsor.
This is a rare ritual reserved only for state visits, demonstrating the level of respect the British Royal Family has for distinguished guests.
This visit took place at Windsor Castle instead of Buckingham Palace, as it is undergoing renovations until 2027. This is also the first state visit to be held at Windsor since 2014.

Despite playing an important role in French President Emmanuel Macron's state visit, it has not been confirmed whether Princess Kate Middleton will attend the grand state banquet taking place on the evening of July 9.
She last wore the crown at a similar event in 2023, before she was diagnosed with cancer.
After the procession, King Charles and Queen Camilla invited President Macron and his wife to lunch at the banquet hall of Windsor Castle - where the two high-ranking guests will also stay during their visit until July 10.
