The special art program Proud to be Vietnamese will be the next national concert in a series of national activities focusing on the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
The program will take place at 8:10 p.m. on August 17 at My Dinh National Stadium (Hanoi), hosted by the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam Television, and Netmedia.
VTV1 channel will broadcast this program live; rebroadcast on many local TV channels and livestream on digital platforms.
The stage of the art program Proud to be Vietnamese was inspired by the legend of Lang Lieu, combining the images of heaven and earth.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Dung, the program's general director, said that Proud to be Vietnamese is staged in 3 chapters: Origin - Calling Vietnam's name; One Vietnam - Million hearts and Proud to be Vietnamese.

The program brings together famous artists such as: Tung Duong, Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu, Duong Hoang Yen, Lam Bao Ngoc, Pham Thu Ha, Le Anh Dung... with the participation of 500 artists and dancers.

The band Buc Tuong and singer Duong Tran Nghia were invited to participate in the program alongside chamber and pop singers.
Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online, leader of the band Buc Tuong Tran Tuan Hung said that the band will play two songs praising the will to conquer the heights of the Vietnamese people. Among them is the band's "national" song, Road to Glory.
