Mountain girl conquers the crown of Miss Charming Foreign Trade

(GLO)- Born and raised in Pleiku, Le Phuong Nghi stepped out of her comfort zone to reach the title of Miss FTUCharm 2025. That journey is not only a story of beauty and title, but also a testament to her bravery and constant efforts to find a better version of herself.

More than a month has passed since the day of being crowned the highest position at the Foreign Trade Charm - FTUCharm 2025 contest, Le Phuong Nghi is still full of emotions. Nghi is a former English major student of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted.

Since her high school years, Nghi has left a good impression on teachers and friends with her tall figure, radiant smile on her lovely face and impressive academic achievements such as: IELTS 7.5, third prize and encouragement prize at the national high school excellent student selection exam in Geography, gold medal at the 30-4 traditional Olympic competition and 2 consecutive years of winning first prize in the provincial excellent student in Geography.

In addition to studying, Nghi is also passionate about movement activities and was the champion of the elegant and talented student contest for the 2023-2024 school year organized by the school.

In 2024, after graduating from high school, Nghi was admitted to the Foreign Economics major (Faculty of International Business and Trade, Foreign Trade University, Campus II). Sharing about this choice, Nghi said: “Since middle school, I have been passionate about economics and soon oriented to pursue an international working environment. Foreign Trade is my dream school. I believe that the learning process at the school will be a solid foundation for self-improvement and conquering big goals in the future.”

Currently, Nghi is the class monitor of the Foreign Economics class, as well as the media face of the school's Training Management Board and the media ambassador of the Global Volunteer International Volunteer Program. During the first semester of her freshman year, Nghi was awarded an academic scholarship by the school.

From the first days of entering her dream school, Nghi had the intention of trying her hand at FTUCharm. This is a contest to honor the beauty, intelligence and talent of students of Foreign Trade University, organized by the FTUYours Skills and Events Club.

To be able to participate well in the contest, Nghi spent a lot of time practicing catwalk, improving her communication skills and practicing her performance style. Passing the rounds with hundreds of contestants, Nghi excellently entered the top 30 of the final round which took place on the evening of May 18.

With a confident demeanor, brave response, and captivating performance, Le Phuong Nghi was officially crowned Miss Foreign Trade Charm 2025.

“When I heard the results, I was very happy and emotional. For me, victory is not just a title but the result of a journey of effort, challenges and growth. My family is also very proud to witness my efforts every day. I want to dedicate this gift to all those who have always believed in and loved me,” Nghi expressed.

According to Nghi, the FTUCharm 2025 competition not only helped her discover herself but also opened up many new opportunities. After being crowned, Nghi has also actively participated in many community activities, becoming an inspirational ambassador for student programs, volunteer activities as well as cultural and artistic events.

When asked about the message she wants to send to girls who are nurturing dreams, Nghi affirmed: “Believe that the ordinary can also create extraordinary things, as long as you dare to start and keep trying. Don’t compare yourself to others, compare yourself today with yourself yesterday. And more importantly, always love and be proud of yourself.”

Nghi also believes that a modern girl is not only beautiful in appearance but must have intelligence and a warm heart. Because appearance helps create a first impression, knowledge helps you become more stable, and personality is what makes others truly love and trust you.

Currently, Miss Charming Foreign Trade 2025 is still constantly improving herself through studying and improving her skills. In the coming time, Nghi will continue to focus on studying, looking for internship opportunities, and gaining practical experience to improve her skills; at the same time, actively participate in social projects and community activities to both contribute and broaden her perspective, perfect her personality and abilities.
