On the night of August 28, Ho Chi Minh City Police Club (HCMC Police) regained its winning streak in V-League 2025 - 2026 when it defeated HAGL 1-0, thanks to striker Endrick's goal in the 41st minute, thereby returning to the top group in the top 6.

In particular, this is the second consecutive victory of CA TP.HCM Club at Thong Nhat Stadium, helping them maintain a 100% winning rate at home. Very quickly, Thong Nhat Stadium has become a special support for coach Le Huynh Duc and his team.

After the opening match was packed, Thong Nhat Stadium welcomed 6,000 spectators to support the match on the night of August 28, a significant number in the pouring rain. Many fans did not even wear raincoats to cheer for coach Le Huynh Duc and his team throughout the match.
