On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), on the morning of June 20, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) launched the Multimedia Information Page with the domain name vietnammedia.vnanet.vn.

This strategic product is managed and operated by the Center for Digital Content and Communications (VNA Media) - a source information unit under VNA.

Attending the event were Deputy General Directors of VNA: Nguyen Tuan Hung, Nguyen Thi Su, Doan Thi Tuyet Nhung; former leaders of VNA and representatives of press agencies.

The website vietnammedia.vnanet.vn is an official channel of VNA to publish and broadcast information and documents of the Party and State; provide information to serve leadership and management requirements; and disseminate official and reliable information to mass media agencies and all classes of people at home and abroad in the form of multimedia information.

Speaking at the event, VNA Deputy General Director Nguyen Tuan Hung emphasized that the launch of the Multimedia Information Page vietnammedia.vnanet.vn is not only a simple introduction of a new type of information of VNA but also a strategic step, an action that deeply concretizes the mission that the Party and State have entrusted to VNA.

Decree No. 27/2025/ND-CP dated February 24, 2025 of the Government clearly stipulates the functions and tasks of VNA as "a key multimedia media agency." This mission requires VNA not only to perform well in traditional forms of information but also to constantly innovate, proactively dominate and lead on all platforms, especially the digital space.

“This special page will be an important piece, creating a comprehensive ecosystem where text, photo, graphic and video information products coexist, resonate and promote their combined strength under the common roof of vnanet.vn. This is a testament to strategic thinking and a well-planned vision, ensuring that VNA not only keeps up with but also anticipates the development trends of modern journalism and media,” Deputy General Director Nguyen Tuan Hung emphasized.
