DNVN - From October 22 to November 22, the Department of Information Security ( Ministry of Information and Communications ) and TikTok Vietnam organized the 2024 online fraud prevention program. This is a campaign to encourage KOLs (social media influencers) to participate in creating content, posting videos about common forms of online fraud and prevention skills.
The program encourages the creation of videos and viral content based on two main topics: Situations about common forms of online fraud and skills to prevent online fraud, with hashtags #luadaotructuyen #Congkgmqg #Vaccineso. At the same time, each valid video must be tagged with the official Tiktok account of the National Cyber Portal (@congkgmqg).
In the era of digital technology explosion, when all information and social activities are conducted online, the problem of online fraud has become more complicated and difficult to control than ever. Online fraud not only causes great financial losses but also threatens the safety, trust and reputation of users.
According to Mr. Tran Quang Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Information Security (Ministry of Information and Communications), this year's theme emphasizes the issue of "skills". The Department of Information Security focuses on equipping each person with the ability to protect themselves and their families from fraud.
At the program launch event, representative of Tiktok Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh emphasized: We call for the cooperation of professional content creators, who are influencers on social networks, to build content to identify and prevent online fraud. The propaganda information in the skill manual developed by the Department of Information Security will be simplified by content creators, creating a great spread.
The program hopes to have a lot of creative and attractive content in the one month of implementation. Moreover, this is also a bridge for not only government agencies but also the KOLs community, social network users and the whole community to act together for a safe and transparent online environment, spreading the wave of pushing back fraud problems in the digital age.
