Meeting program for businesses in Dak Lak province and Odisha state - India

On the morning of November 30, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City to organize a meeting with businesses from Dak Lak province and businesses from Odisha State - India.

Attending the program were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van; Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City Madan Mohan Sethi; representatives of departments, branches, associations of the province; and businesses in the province and Odisha State - India.

At the program, representatives of the provincial departments and branches introduced an overview of the socio -economic situation as well as the province's potential and strengths and orientations in attracting investment, including the fields of high-tech agriculture, processing industry, construction of commercial centers, schools, hospitals, etc.

Representatives of the Department of Planning and Investment presented the province's investment attraction orientations.

Enterprises participating in the program also shared and discussed their needs and desires to explore opportunities and exchange cooperation in important fields such as agriculture , food processing, construction, interior decoration, logistics and many other fields.

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van said that the province is currently aiming for rapid, sustainable and comprehensive socio-economic development on the basis of focusing, attracting and mobilizing resources to develop industries and fields with potential and competitive advantages, such as: developing large-scale, high-quality, large-export agricultural and forestry products; large-scale agricultural, forestry and fishery processing industry and renewable energy production; urban economy, digital infrastructure, irrigation infrastructure, services - logistics - tourism based on digital platforms.

Many businesses in the province are also very interested in the Indian market. Therefore, this meeting program is not only a good opportunity for businesses in the province to strengthen connections and trade cooperation with a potential market like India, but also an opportunity for Indian businesses to learn more about the investment and business environment in the fields of agricultural products, food processing, construction, and chemicals in Dak Lak. From there, it creates a foundation for both sides to take further steps in the future.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the Provincial People's Committee as well as the provincial departments and branches are always ready to create all conditions for cooperation and investment projects between enterprises of the two sides to be implemented quickly and effectively, towards becoming sincere and trustworthy partners of each other.
