As the new school year approaches, Then Chu Phin Ethnic Boarding Primary and Secondary School in the border commune of Thanh Tin, Tuyen Quang province, was suddenly hit by a landslide that swept into classrooms and the schoolyard, seriously affecting preparations for the opening of the school year. Faced with this situation, the Commune Youth Union, Commune Police, and officers and soldiers of Thanh Tin Border Guard Station quickly arrived, joined hands to clean up and overcome the consequences, so that students in the highlands could go to school with peace of mind.

Then Chu Phin Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities has one main campus and one separate campus, with 400 students; 261 students are boarding students. Due to prolonged heavy rain, the soil and rocks behind the classrooms and the principal's office collapsed, spilling over the campus, flooding some classrooms.

Thanh Tin Commune Youth Union, Thanh Tin Commune Police and officers and soldiers of Thanh Tin Border Guard Station coordinated with the school to urgently clean up mud and soil.

It is estimated that the volume of rock and soil that collapsed behind the classrooms is up to tens of cubic meters.

Mr. Lu Xuan Viet, Secretary of the Thanh Tin Commune Youth Union, said that due to the large amount of work, the commune Youth Union mobilized more than 20 members to help. The area behind the students' classrooms was quite narrow, and it was impossible to bring in machinery, so all the work had to be done manually, by human power.
