Tan Chau Commune, Tay Ninh Province was established from the merger of Tan Chau Town, Thanh Dong Commune and part of Tan Phu Commune and Suoi Day Commune. This merger led to changes in administrative boundaries and population growth. Therefore, the Commune Police force stepped up information dissemination to the people to ensure adaptation and stability.

Lieutenant Colonel Bui Vu Thanh Tai - an officer of Tan Chau Commune Police , said that as a local police officer, he takes advantage of Party cell meetings and hamlet meetings to disseminate legal knowledge about fire prevention and fighting, how to prevent property theft, fraud and appropriation of property on the internet, information about traffic order and safety, and mobilize people to actively participate in the movement of All people protecting national security.

Before the propaganda, he proactively researched and grasped the content and topics to build an outline suitable for the audience; spent time researching and accumulating information in books and newspapers to make the propaganda session more lively. During the propaganda session, Lieutenant Colonel Bui Vu Thanh Tai also incorporated funny stories, images, and videos to make the dry regulations closer and more realistic, helping people to easily remember, understand, and strictly comply.

“To effectively communicate orally, reporters need to select content that is appropriate for the time, ensure that the outline is not “burned”, and at the same time, clearly understand the audience to have an appropriate and effective way of communicating” - Lieutenant Colonel Bui Vu Thanh Tai shared.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Bui Vu Thanh Tai, Tan Chau Commune Police attaches importance to the work of propagating, disseminating and educating legal knowledge to the people, especially in the new phase of implementing the 2-level local government model. The Commune Police identify each officer as a propagandist to bring legal knowledge to the people. In the coming time, the unit will coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, the military, etc. to organize many legal propaganda sessions to raise people's awareness of law compliance.

Since the merger, the Commune Police have directly disseminated 5 sessions with 350 participants; directly disseminated fire prevention and fighting information to 212 business households under management; shared legal knowledge on Zalo groups of groups and hamlets with thousands of people reaching them.

Soften the propaganda

Captain Vu Manh Tuan (born in 1992) - a police officer of Hoa Hoi commune, always upholds the sense of responsibility in professional work and activities and movements. In particular, he always considers that legal propaganda and raising awareness for people play an important role in crime prevention and control, contributing to ensuring political security, order and social safety in the locality.

Previously, Mr. Vu Manh Tuan was a lecturer at the Criminal Police Department, People's Police College II. He was assigned according to the plan of the Ministry of Public Security to mobilize officers working in units under the Ministry to work at the border police station in key and complicated areas in terms of security and order.

In November 2023, Captain Vu Manh Tuan was assigned to work at Hoa Hoi Commune Police, Chau Thanh District (old). He strived to excellently complete his professional tasks, grasp the area, and manage subjects, thanks to which the assigned area did not have any criminal offenses. In addition to performing assigned tasks, he also supported the professional team to fight and eradicate gambling dens operating in Chau Thanh District (old).

From March 1, 2025, he was transferred to work at the Border Commune Police, Chau Thanh District (old). Captain Vu Manh Tuan shared: "No matter what position I am in, I constantly seek and learn knowledge to serve my professional work, research optimal solutions to complete assigned tasks at the highest level."

According to Captain Vu Manh Tuan, through propaganda work, he hopes to convey the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on ensuring security, order, methods and tricks of all types of crimes so that people can proactively prevent and actively participate effectively in the movement of All People Protecting National Security. To do that, he constantly researches and innovates propaganda methods, flexibly applies his teaching skills, and has an appropriate approach to each propaganda target.

He also directly advises and develops plans to educate people about preventing and combating certain types of crimes. He designs and posts infographics and videos to educate people about preventing and combating drug crimes, theft, fraud and appropriation of property on the internet, weapons, explosives, support tools and fireworks on the unit's Facebook page and Zalo propaganda group. The young Captain also directly educates the law to union members, youth, union officials, teachers, students and soldiers at Regiment 5, Division 5.

From July 1, 2025, Hoa Hoi commune was established on the basis of merging 3 border administrative units including Bien Gioi, Hoa Thanh and Hoa Hoi communes of Chau Thanh district (old). The area is large and the population is dense, so the work of propaganda, dissemination of laws, and raising awareness for people needs to be changed to suit each subject, with more widespread effects.

According to Captain Vu Manh Tuan, in the coming time, he and his teammates will make more efforts in performing their professional tasks; promote crime prevention and control, especially law dissemination, raising awareness and vigilance for local people.
