At the historical site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Don village, Minh Thanh commune, where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was headquartered from late 1947 to 1954, the delegation held an incense offering ceremony to express gratitude and commemorate the great contributions of generations of cadres through the ages. This is the first generation of diplomatic cadres after August 28, 1945, when President Ho Chi Minh signed the Decree establishing the Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, founding the diplomacy of modern Vietnam. The delegates in the delegation affirmed the great significance of the August Revolution in the history of the nation, as well as the outstanding contributions of the diplomatic sector to the successes of the Vietnamese revolution over the past 80 years.

The historical site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a place to preserve historical memories, spiritual values, and pride of generations of diplomatic staff. This historical land witnessed the initial formation and development of Vietnamese diplomacy in its infancy, with difficult conditions and shortages of material, technical, and human resources. Today, Vietnam has deeply integrated, has diplomatic relations with 193 countries, and is an active and responsible member of more than 70 international and regional organizations. Currently, diplomatic staff are increasingly modern, professional, and confident, participating in international and regional affairs, on par with the requirements of the region and the world. The historical site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will forever be a "red address" for diplomatic staff inside and outside the province to return to their roots as well as preserve and promote the glorious values of the industry.
