The book series “Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (1945-2025)” includes 25 titles, with 3 main sections. The first section is representative works selected from the publisher’s precious archives for reprinting. These are works by exemplary senior leaders of the Party, who are also historical witnesses.

Through the memoirs and authentic notes of those who directly contributed to leading, directing and organizing the great revolution 80 years ago, readers deeply feel the days of the boiling atmosphere of the General Uprising, in which each work depicts the image of leader Ho Chi Minh and the Party's leaders with strategic vision.

The second section is specialized, in-depth research works by generals, officers, veterans, scientists, and journalists about the August 1945 General Uprising over time.
The works include “Peace or War” (Tran Van Tra), “The Party’s leadership in building armed forces and armed struggle in the August Revolution of 1945” (Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Trong Tho), “August Revolution of 1945” (Vietnam Institute of Strategy and History of National Defense), “War zones with the August General Uprising of 1945” (Duong Dinh Lap), “The uprising to seize power in Hanoi in 1945 - historical and realistic values” (many authors), “Ho Chi Minh - The leader of the Vietnamese people from the dark night of slavery to the autumn of independence” (Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Nhu Khoi)...

The works help readers gain a clearer understanding of the context, causes, developments, and results, and gain a deeper understanding through assessments, analyses, summaries, and lessons about the stature and historical value of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd. In particular, they clearly see the talented and wise leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh with the correct decisions that made the great revolution possible.
