On the evening of July 12, the 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) officially closed with an eye-catching fireworks display on the Han River.
The home fireworks team used more than 7,000 fireworks.
Team Jiangxi Yangfeng (China) defeated the host representative Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Ministry of National Defense to win the championship.
For the first time, the Vietnamese fireworks team participated in the final and competed with the DIFF 2024 runner-up from China.
Team Z121 used more than 7,000 fireworks, combined with songs such as "Vietnam's Pride", "The Nights", "Aspiration for Peace ". The performance recreated a modern Vietnam, aspiring to develop in peace.

The effect of flowers blooming in the air and exploding on the water surface made the Han River seem to be choked with light and emotion in the performance of team Z121.
Z121 not only delivered a top-notch technical performance. The performance was also a proud declaration of a Vietnam that loves peace, desires development and is always ready to contribute to a more stable and brighter world.
The champion combines fireworks with 10 pieces of music, including Vietnamese songs.
Meanwhile, Jiangxi Yangfeng impressed with a performance called "Da Nang: Shining Pearl, Future City". The performance combined sophisticated fireworks lighting with 10 international songs, including Vietnamese songs.

The Chinese team surprised everyone by incorporating the Vietnamese song “Bac Bling” into the vibrant fireworks display, synchronized with the series of mid- and low-level fireworks running across the water, creating an effect like a dance of light connecting the two cultures.
The finale of “Mountain Call” resounded amidst a backdrop of high-altitude fireworks, sparkling with gold and silver combined with continuous glitter fireworks, depicting the image of Da Nang, a shining gem on the map of Asia’s future.
The judges judged the competition to be evenly matched. However, Jiangxi Yangfeng was honored with a prize of $20,000; team Z121 received the runner-up prize of $10,000.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 3 secondary prizes: "Creativity" to the Portuguese team, "Most Favorite Audience" to the Da Nang team and "Promising" to the Italian team.

Impressive results from the fireworks festival
DIFF 2025 recorded impressive growth: more than 98,000 guests stayed during the final, up 6.4% over the same period, international visitors increased by 81%.
Da Nang airport recorded 171 flights on July 11, surpassing last year's record. Tickets for fireworks viewing trains were 90% full.

DIFF in the next 5 years will be invested in on a larger scale to become a new growth driver for the night-time economy.
Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi affirmed that DIFF will continue to receive larger scale investment, becoming a new driving force for the development of the night-time economy and tourism, contributing to positioning Da Nang's cultural brand on the international map.
