Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Ton Thien San reported: The organizational structure after the merger of the Department of Agriculture and Environment has 1 Director and 14 Deputy Directors; 6 professional departments; 8 branches; 36 public service units and 4 other organizations, reducing 46 departments and affiliated units.

Regarding personnel after the merger, the Department of Agriculture and Environment has 5,154 civil servants, public employees and workers, 2,020 officials and 1,958 people working in other public service units and organizations, reducing 394 civil servant and public employee positions.

The results of the implementation of the tasks in the first 6 months of 2025 with the main targets achieved include: Total value of agricultural, forestry and fishery products of 15,100 billion VND, growth rate of 5.17% over the same period. The whole province has 919 cooperatives, reaching 99.5% (good operating rate of 46%) , 875 cooperative groups and 1,461 farms; 528 production chains linked to product consumption (123% of the plan).

Of the total 913 OCOP products (115% of the plan), there are 821 3-star OCOP products; 85 4-star OCOP products; 7 5-star OCOP products. The rate of rural people using clean water is 97.62%. The forest coverage rate is 46.72%.

After completing district-level activities, the whole province has 80 new rural communes (reaching 77.7%); 9 advanced new rural communes (reaching 8.7%); 3 model new rural communes (reaching 2.9%).
