President of Dong Thap Provincial Women's Union participated in gratitude activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day in Long Hung commune

(ABO) Towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the morning of July 16, the Military Women's Committee - General Department of Politics coordinated with the Political Department of the Military Region and the Military Command of Dong Thap province to organize an incense offering and flower offering ceremony in memory of comrade Nguyen Thi Thap, Heroic Vietnamese Mother, late President of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) at the comrade's temple, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia relic site, Long Hung commune, Dong Thap province.

Comrade Thai Ngoc Bao Tram and delegates of the Military Women's Committee - General Department of Politics visited the Temple of Comrade Nguyen Thi Thap.

Attending the ceremony, comrade Thai Ngoc Bao Tram, Provincial Party Committee member, President of the Women's Union of Dong Thap province, together with the delegates respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate comrade Nguyen Thi Thap, a loyal daughter of Long Hung homeland, an exemplary woman who fought all her life for the revolutionary cause of the nation and for the progress and equality of Vietnamese women.

In a solemn atmosphere, comrade Thai Ngoc Bao Tram expressed her emotion and deep gratitude for the great contributions of comrade Nguyen Thi Thap, who devoted her whole life to national independence, national unification and the development of the women's movement.

Immediately after the Memorial Ceremony, the President of the Dong Thap Provincial Women's Union and the delegation presented gifts to families with meritorious services and women members with difficult circumstances in Long Hung Commune. The meaningful gifts expressed the deep gratitude and practical concern of all levels and sectors, including the Provincial Women's Union, for families with meritorious services, those who have contributed to the country and women members who still have many difficulties in life.

The President of the Women's Union of Dong Thap province presented gifts to policy families and women members in difficult circumstances in Long Hung commune.

The activity clearly demonstrates the accompanying role of the Association in caring for the material and spiritual life of women members, especially poor women, single women, and families with meritorious services. Thereby affirming the spirit of humanity and social responsibility of the Association in coordinating with the Armed Forces and localities, effectively implementing social security programs, contributing to maintaining the great national unity bloc.
