The FIFA Football Summit is a high-level forum periodically organized by FIFA to promote strategic exchange and global cooperation in football development.
At this year's conference, discussions focused on key topics such as youth football development, women's football, technical capacity building, the "Football for Schools" programme, the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) initiative and plans to expand the FIFA Women's World Cup to 48 teams from 2031.

Speaking at the conference, FIFA President Gianni Infantino affirmed FIFA's strong commitment to accompanying member federations through development support programs such as FIFA Forward to invest in infrastructure, training and community football development.

Within the framework of the FIFA 2025 Football Summit, the VFF delegation led by VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan met and discussed with FIFA President Gianni Infantino, senior FIFA leaders and representatives of member federations to strengthen international cooperation, while opening up cooperation opportunities for the development of Vietnamese football in the coming time.

On behalf of the VFF Executive Committee, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan thanked FIFA President Gianni Infantino for the practical support that FIFA has given to Vietnamese football over the past time, especially through the development projects of the FIFA Forward program.
On this occasion, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan expressed his wish to welcome FIFA President Gianni Infantino to visit Vietnam, and at the same time proposed that Vietnam be allowed to host important international conferences and seminars of FIFA in the coming time.

This is not only an opportunity for VFF to affirm its role as an active and dynamic member organization of FIFA, but also an opportunity to introduce to international friends the image of the country, people and culture of Vietnam.
In response to the invitation from the President of VFF, FIFA President Gianni Infantino happily accepted and affirmed that he will arrange a visit to Vietnam at a suitable time in the near future.
