On the evening of June 4, Military Region 7 organized the mobilization of forces to participate in training, parades, and marches in the parade and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), abbreviated as mission A80.
Nearly 800 officers and soldiers of Military Region 7 were mobilized to Hanoi by train, departing from Saigon station. The parade groups mobilized included: the Southern female guerrillas, the female commandos, and the male paratroopers.

For the first time setting foot in the capital, the soldiers brought with them pride, the will to train and the determination to excellently complete the mission entrusted to them by the country.
Previously, at 4 p.m. the same day, the groups participating in the A80 parade offered incense to the statue of Uncle Ho at the Military Region 7 Command. It is expected that on June 6, the group will arrive at Hanoi station and continue to mobilize forces to the military base, stabilize accommodation and practice according to plan.
Seeing his daughter Chu Dieu Ai (a female guerrilla fighter from the Southern region) off from Saigon station to the National Military Training Center 4 (Chuong My district, Hanoi) to enter the second phase of training, Mr. Chu Bao Hiep could not hide his pride.
The training blocks always have enthusiastic and dedicated support and guidance from the officers of Military Region 7.

"My family has two daughters who were both selected to serve in major national events. The eldest daughter participated in the parade at the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory. Now it is Ai's turn to participate in important national events," said Mr. Hiep.
For Mr. Hiep, this is a rare honor, making the whole family feel proud. Before his daughter left, the family mainly encouraged her spirit, reminding her to strive to complete the mission. Besides, Mr. Hiep was also completely assured because the soldiers were well taken care of by the Ho Chi Minh City Command, always ready to support.
As for Chu Dieu Ai, she sees this as a big task, a rare opportunity to make a small contribution to the country. Being able to join the A80 team is a source of pride for Ai, an overwhelming emotion that "cannot be described in words".
For nearly a month, Ai and her teammates have been training regularly in Ho Chi Minh City, regardless of the weather. Today, the entire team will go to Hanoi to begin the next phase of training in forecast hot weather conditions. But Dieu Ai affirmed: "No matter how harsh the weather is, we are determined to excellently complete the mission that the country and locality have entrusted us with."
At 7:40, the train departed to take the soldiers to Hanoi.

Nguyen Tien Sinh (a paratrooper special forces soldier) shared that this was not the first time he had participated in a national parade. Previously, soldiers of Division 5 had participated in A50 and were now assigned to A80. However, this was the first time the whole team had set foot in Hanoi, so the initial feeling was very nervous.

Regarding personal belongings, in addition to backpacks and personal items issued by the unit for use during the move, soldiers will be issued the official uniform of the block immediately after arriving in Hanoi.
"100% of the officers and soldiers of Division 5 are determined to excellently complete the assigned tasks at A80," said Mr. Sinh.
It is expected that on June 6, the groups will arrive in Hanoi and continue training for the grand ceremony.

Regarding the weather in Hanoi in the coming time, Mr. Sinh expressed: "Based on the information we have, Hanoi is currently very hot. We are also concerned that some new soldiers may have difficulty adapting to the weather conditions out there. However, the entire unit has been thoroughly prepared, with accompanying medical staff and close direction from the commander to ensure the health and training quality of the entire parade unit."
