Attending the Dialogue were Professor Klaus Schwab, Chairman of WEF, Mr. Borge Brende, Executive Director of WEF and about 50 leaders of global corporations that are WEF members.
This is the only national dialogue activity held within the framework of the 14th Annual Conference of WEF Pioneers, aiming to share Vietnam's experience as a model of economic recovery and accelerating growth model transformation, creating an opportunity to discuss orientations, policies and investment and business environment in Vietnam.

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh shared information on Vietnam's socio-economic development situation; emphasizing that as a highly open economy, Vietnam is greatly influenced by the impacts of the world economy. Despite the extremely difficult context, Vietnam has effectively responded to external risks and challenges, maintained macroeconomic stability, controlled inflation and ensured major balances, promoted growth, firmly consolidated national defense and security, and created a peaceful and stable environment for development.
Vietnam is continuing to strongly innovate its growth model, restructure the economy, promote innovation and digital transformation, accelerate energy conversion, develop a green economy and circular economy; promote the implementation of three strategic breakthroughs in synchronous institutional improvement, high-quality human resource development and construction of synchronous and modern infrastructure.
Sharing with WEF and businesses about Vietnam's advantages, the Prime Minister suggested that WEF and its members continue to cooperate and support Vietnam in technology, finance, training of high-quality human resources, and modern management.

Agreeing with the Prime Minister's comments, WEF leaders and business representatives highly appreciated Vietnam's economic recovery achievements and prospects, identifying Vietnam as one of the bright spots in economic recovery in the region, a successful model in disease prevention, playing a pioneering role in transforming the growth model and committing to energy transition.
Many businesses are impressed by the fact that the Vietnamese Government always pays great attention and support to the business community, thanks to which there are many policies aimed at removing difficulties and creating better business conditions for businesses.
With the Government's drastic policies and measures to create an attractive investment environment for Vietnam, the business community believes that Vietnam is one of the most suitable choices, an investment destination and a place to seek long-term cooperation opportunities.
Speaking at the conference, many businesses also expressed interest in learning about Vietnam's policies in the field of transport infrastructure development, completing the logistics system, the implementation progress of the VIII power planning project, the situation of promoting digital transformation...
The Dialogue took place in an open, sincere, practical and effective spirit. Enterprises expressed their affection for the country and people of Vietnam, highly appreciated Vietnam's participation at this WEF Pioneers Conference, and affirmed that they will come to Vietnam to continue discussing with ministries, sectors and localities to realize cooperation plans with Vietnam.

* On the same afternoon, on the occasion of attending the WEF Tianjin Conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received Mr. Robert H. McCooey, Jr., Vice President of Nasdaq Corporation (USA).
The Prime Minister thanked Nasdaq for its support for Vietnamese enterprises, and hoped that Nasdaq would exchange and share with Vietnam about the monetary policies of major countries, global financial market trends, information and experience sharing to help develop the domestic capital market, and continue to accompany the development of Vietnamese enterprises.
Nasdaq Vice President expressed his impression of Vietnam's economic recovery and growth, highly appreciated the Government's financial and monetary management policies; believed in the dynamic development of Vietnamese enterprises; and committed to supporting Vietnamese enterprises to reach out to the global market.
Nasdaq Vice President looks forward to welcoming the Prime Minister to visit the Nasdaq Stock Exchange as soon as possible./.
