Chi Linh, mascot model parade on Mid-Autumn Festival night 2024

There will be more than 20 models of Mid-Autumn mascots from communes and wards participating in the parade on the main streets of Chi Linh City on the night of the 12th day of the 8th lunar month (documentary photo)

Accordingly, on the evening of September 14 (ie August 12 of the lunar calendar), there will be a procession carrying President Ho Chi Minh's photo, the Party flag, the national flag, a parade of Mid-Autumn Festival models of the city, star lanterns, lanterns, Mid-Autumn Festival models of 19 communes and wards with the theme of 12 zodiac animals and Mid-Autumn Festival mascots and symbols such as: carp, moon, lanterns... The model group will parade through the main streets of Chi Linh city.

Before that, Chi Linh will organize the program "Full Moon Festival - Lanterns light up dreams" at Sao Do Square with many activities: displaying, scoring and awarding prizes for Mid-Autumn Festival trays of 19 communes and wards; art programs: lion dance, August lantern procession, scenes of Hang and Cuoi, exchanges with Chi Linh children...

From the morning of September 14, activities will take place at the "Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival" experience space with 2 spaces including folk art experiences (making figurines, making star lanterns, decorating paper fans, masks, making Dong Ho folk paintings...), folk culinary experiences (making moon cakes, banh troi, chay... at Sao Do square.

This is a practical activity to take care of Chi Linh children and inherit the atmosphere of last year's Mid-Autumn Festival with the success of the Chi Linh- Hai Duong Festival: "Convergence of Essence - Aspiration to Shine", in which the Full Moon Festival is a highlight.
