As a journalism association with special activities, members actively create works, especially literary and artistic works (VHNT) to serve the political tasks of the locality, serving the information and propaganda work of the Party and State.

Comrade Bui Viet Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, in charge of the Hoa Binh Literature and Arts Magazine, and Secretary of the association, said: The Hoa Binh Literature and Arts Magazine is published regularly once a month, in a compact format (24x26cm), with rich content, focusing on propagating the Party's guidelines on cultural and artistic development; introducing works by artists and writers to serve the political - economic - cultural tasks of the locality. Research and criticism columns are increasingly focused on to orient the aesthetics and enhance the artistic tastes of readers. In addition, the magazine is also a channel to preserve and promote the cultural identity of the ethnic communities of Hoa Binh province through articles on folk culture, traditional festivals, customs and practices, etc.

In 2024, the Magazine published 12 issues with nearly 9,600 copies distributed. The number of published works clearly shows the diversity and richness of genres, including: 49 notes, memoirs - reports; 42 short stories; 135 poems; 25 folklore articles; 13 theoretical and critical articles, along with many works on fine arts, music , photography, literature and childhood. In particular, the column "Non song mot doi" opened in 2024 in response to Plan No. 247 of the Provincial Party Committee on summarizing 50 years of literature and arts after the country's reunification has contributed to reviewing the creative journeys, paying tribute to artists, recognizing achievements and proposing new development directions for the province's literature and arts.

In the first quarter of 2025, the Magazine continued to maintain publishing quality with two special Spring issues, totaling nearly 700 copies, reflecting the traditional Tet atmosphere through poems, short stories, art photos, and articles about customs and festivals.

Not only focusing on content, Hoa Binh Literature and Arts Magazine also cares about widely spreading publications to readers. Every year, it actively participates in exhibitions at the Provincial Spring Newspaper Festival. The unique display form associated with traditional national cultural identity has left a deep impression at the Spring Newspaper Festival.
In particular, the Magazine promotes the strength of a large team of collaborators: over 200 members of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association and more than 30 collaborators in many localities and fields, to enrich the content and color of each issue. The close connection between the team of members and artists, researchers, collaborators inside and outside the province is an important factor in helping to improve the quality of works and expand the reach of the magazine.
