In the list of 28 players participating in the FIFA Club World Cup in the US, only one member was recalled by Enzo Maresca after his loan period last season, midfielder Andrey Santos.

The rest, including Raheem Sterling, Axel Disasi, Kepa, Djordje Petrovic, Armando Broja, Joao Felix, Renato Veiga, Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka will all be sold.

Goalkeeper Kepa is likely to join Arsenal for just £5 million, as he is about to enter the final year of his contract.

Benfica are also interested in Joao Felix, but the Portuguese club will not pay more than £20m for the player.

Sterling's case is more difficult, because he still has a contract until 2027, and enjoys the highest salary in the team, about 300,000 pounds per week.

Similarly, Ben Chilwell was rejected by Maresca last season. Since moving to Palace, he has rarely played so his market value has decreased.

Several members who grew up from the Chelsea academy such as Alfie Gilchrist, Alex Matos, Leo Castledine and Zak Sturge also had to find new destinations.

Chelsea prefer to sell rather than loan players this summer, but they could relax their policy if they struggle to find a way out for their players.
