Duc Dung and I have spent 25 years meeting, working together and bonding. He was a high school classmate of my aunt's younger sister from Nha Trang. The first day we met, Dung was quiet and unfamiliar with life in Ho Chi Minh City...
At that time, I was busy with personal work, so I introduced her to find a way to make a living through another job with a deep affection of mine.
When my friends and I founded an event organization company, Dung came to work with us. His diligence, learning ability, passion, talent and career luck have kept him in this profession for over twenty years. It can be said that Dung's career efforts have been a difficult journey but have also reaped many sweet fruits.
I am "multi-talented" and gradually recognized in many roles from photography skills, art design, stage design; from event/show organizer to wedding planner and even the role of event director... Whatever job, whatever role, I always bring the spirit of taking risks and constantly trying to do my best. Gradually, I became a leader, inspiring and connecting professional members in the group.
On social networks, many artists and people working in the art industry expressed their condolences and grief at the passing of Duc Dung and his small family.

But to me, the most precious thing about you is your modesty, kindness, dedication, and wholeheartedness, and the way you love and care for your family. A person like that will of course be loved by many people...
Many friends and colleagues rushed to her family while the incident was still happening, they ignored the danger and difficulties in confusion and hoped for a miracle until the painful moment when they learned that she had passed away forever.

When Dung passed away, there were many words of encouragement and sharing from close relatives, friends, colleagues, even acquaintances and strangers... Spiritual comfort through messages and phone calls of condolences; then friends who worked hard and stayed by Dung's side in these last days... to subtle suggestions about their willingness to join hands and contribute to the funeral of Dung's family.
I am truly touched, grateful and appreciative of everyone's affection for my beloved younger brother and can be certain that: Kind people, always for everyone... will certainly have many other kind people, who love and are always willing to be for them.
The Doc Lap apartment fire and the passing of Duc Dung's family, this incident to me is not only a loss and grief but also a whole world of worries about the impermanence of life...
With these words, I would like to say goodbye to Duc Dung and his small family. The tears will dry, but the memories will always remain...
