Nam Cat Tien National Park is recognized by UNESCO as a “World Biosphere Reserve” in Vietnam. This is considered a place with rich flora and fauna, with many rare species residing there, many animals listed in the Red Book needing strict protection.
In particular, Nam Cat Tien has recorded more than 450 butterfly species, accounting for more than 50% of butterfly species in Vietnam.
