News, forecast of coffee prices tomorrow June 17, 2025

Coffee prices tomorrow, June 17, 2025, are expected to continue to fluctuate slightly, with a possible decrease of 100 to 300 VND/kg in some areas with abundant supply. If there are no new factors, prices may remain the same.

Main cause

Abundant global supplies: While Vietnam is nearing the end of its harvest, Brazil and Indonesia are entering their main harvest period.

Weak purchasing power: Major importers are still waiting, not signing new contracts, which reduces trading activities.

Farmer psychology: After many times of deep price drops, farmers tend to hold on to their goods, waiting for prices to recover.

Prospects

Without positive changes from the New York or London markets, domestic coffee prices are unlikely to surpass VND113,000/kg this week. The “strategic lull” is taking place in major growing regions such as Dak Lak and Gia Lai, making the trading atmosphere deserted.

The Vietnamese coffee industry needs to make more proactive adjustments, especially in exports, to adapt to fluctuations in the international market.
