"Scoring" the questioning

One of the most anticipated activities during National Assembly sessions: question and answer session, is scheduled to take place this week, June 19 and 20. The Minister of Education and Training and the Minister of Finance will be the main speakers.

At a time when the National Assembly is considering and deciding on a series of issues of historical significance and many large projects that are significant in shaping the country's socio-economic landscape, the Minister of Finance may face difficult questions about solutions to achieve a growth rate of 8% or more this year and continuous double-digit growth for many years to come, especially in the context of increasingly fierce regional and global competition and signs of economic protectionism returning.

In addition, the fact that the Minister of Education and Training was chosen to report on the field of "human development" also shows that the National Assembly is not only interested in maintaining and accelerating growth, but also focuses on fundamental issues, creating a foundation for the goal of rapid and sustainable development in the coming years.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man , in a meeting to prepare for the questioning activity, reminded the industry “commanders” that voters and people will “rate” whether the ministers are open-minded, whether they see the limitations of their industry and the field they are in charge of or not, and most importantly, the most expected solution is still how to implement it in the future. Of course, not only the members of the Government, voters and people will follow and evaluate the National Assembly deputies, their representatives, because each question shows the level and responsibility of the questioner.
