On the afternoon of August 11, Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) announced that from August 19, the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway will officially open an additional entrance and exit at the Ring Road 3 intersection (section connecting Nhon Trach Bridge) with a new toll station.

The station is located at km8 of the highway, about 2.5km from Long Phuoc station, designed with 6 lanes (3 lanes in, 3 lanes out), applying non-stop toll collection (ETC) and a mixed toll collection model between open station and closed station. The fee is calculated according to the distance of 4-7km depending on the entry and exit points.
Vehicles from Ring Road 3 entering the highway or from Dong Nai turning onto Ring Road 3 will have their transactions recorded by the system at both open and closed stations, ensuring correct and sufficient calculation of the distance, but without increasing costs compared to the current plan.

This intersection is located about 3.5km from the intersection of Ring Road 2 (Vo Chi Cong, Ho Chi Minh City). The station was put into operation along Ring Road 3, Ho Chi Minh City - Dong Nai section (component project 1A) on August 19 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
Vehicles passing through the station will be charged according to Decree 130/2024/ND-CP, except for exempted cases.
