At around 10:00 a.m. on August 9, Huong Khe Medical Center (Ha Tinh) received patient HTP (born 2005, Ma Lieng ethnic group, residing in Tuyen Lam commune, Quang Tri province) in critical condition.

Through examination, doctors diagnosed the patient with an ectopic pregnancy, symptoms of pain in the lower abdomen, delayed menstruation, pale skin, pale mucous membranes, severe anemia, blood pressure only 70/40 mmHg, directly threatening her life; surgery was required.





Ms. Ho Thi Le Thuy - Head Nurse of Internal Medicine Department (Huong Khe Medical Center) and Mr. Nguyen Tien Hao - a resident of Huong Khe commune donated blood to save the pregnant woman.

However, during the surgery, the patient lost a lot of blood. In order to promptly transfuse blood for the patient, Dr. Nguyen Truong Lam - Director of Huong Khe Medical Center directly donated blood.

At the same time, Ms. Ho Thi Le Thuy - Head Nurse of Internal Medicine Department (Huong Khe Medical Center) and Mr. Nguyen Tien Hao - a resident of Huong Khe commune continued to donate blood for the pregnant woman.

Thanks to the promptness, dedication and determination of the medical team, the surgery was a success. The patient is now out of danger and is continuing to be monitored and treated.
