According to confirmation from Real Madrid's homepage, the French player has completely torn his left thigh tendon, forcing him to miss the rest of last season. Camavinga's expected recovery time is three months.
Camavinga participated in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup with his teammates in the United States last summer, but mainly focused on rehabilitation. He was named in Real Madrid's squad for the final matches of the tournament, but did not play a single minute.
Camavinga returned to training after returning to Madrid and taking a summer break. Initially, he was thought to have made a full recovery. But on August 10, Camavinga suffered a right ankle injury in training and was sidelined for further treatment.
Real's medical team predict that Camavinga will be out for around two weeks, meaning he will miss the opening La Liga game against Osasuna. The midfielder was expected to return for the second-round clash with Oviedo last weekend, but the France international has yet to train with the team.
Mundo Deportivo said Camavinga was training alone at the Valdebebas training centre. There is no official information about the midfielder's return time.
