- Lean meat: 150-200g

- Accompanying vegetables: Half a pineapple, 2-3 tomatoes, 100g bean sprouts, 2 shallots, 2-3 green onions

Raw material preparation

Wash the pork, drain, then chop or grind it, add a little salt or seasoning powder and chopped shallots, marinate for 10-15 minutes for the meat to be flavorful.

Wash tomatoes, cut into wedges.

Halve the pineapple and cut into small pieces.

Wash bean sprouts, squeeze gently to drain.

Wash and chop green onions.

Cook soup

Saute onion and tomato, add marinated meat and stir-fry until cooked, then add enough water for the number of people (about 1 bowl of water for 2-3 people).

When the water boils, skim off the foam and add the pineapple. When the water boils again, lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes until the meat and pineapple are soft and release their sweetness into the broth.

When the soup is cooked, add the bean sprouts and season to taste. Wait a few minutes for the bean sprouts to be half-cooked, then add chopped green onions and turn off the heat. Do not cover the pot tightly to avoid overcooking the bean sprouts, which will become mushy when eaten.

Tomatoes can be lightly mashed to make the sour soup more attractive.

For ground meat, choose soft, lean shoulder meat with a little fat so that when cooked it won't be too greasy or too dry.

You can replace pork with ground beef, but you should use tenderloin because this part of meat has less fat, making the soup refreshing, less greasy, and also limiting weight gain.
